Why we exist
Retail sportsbooks built their business on losing customers. By 2024 every serious bettor knew the math: show skill, get capped, banned, or risk-managed into oblivion. Sharp data went private when Pinnacle closed its API. A whole methodology layer that bettors had relied on for a decade disappeared.
CLV.gg rebuilds the substrate. Sharp consensus drawn from the books that still take action, edges surfaced in real time across 15+ US sportsbooks plus Polymarket, Kalshi, and Betfair Exchange, fee-adjusted math, settled outcomes graded on every bet.
How we're built
The math is open and inspectable. The calculators ship the same code path the production engine uses. Sharp consensus is computed by per-book devigging sportsbook lines and weighted-averaging across the sharp pool. Soft sportsbook prices and exchange prices are explicitly excluded from consensus because they are what we measure edges against.
Read the methodology for the long version, or jump to the narrative if you want the why before the how.
